The research conducted the Internet Addiction Test developed by Young on 1,015 pairs of children from the fourth grade in elementary schools to the third grade in junior high schools with their parents to evaluate levels of the internet addiction. Simultaneously, original questions were developed and asked to evaluate the students’ involvement of the internet at home. The result of the research reveals that nearly forty percent of the students show the internet addiction tendencies when focused on the individual test scores. Analyzing the average scores of the students of each grade, tendencies of the internet addiction were identified only for those in the third grade of junior high schools. Nearly half of the students with higher levels of the internet addiction tendency are using the internet even during the meals at home, which implies decreased amount of communications in the family.
